One of the keys to the success of a digital product is User Interface (UI) & User Experience (UX). This has been proven by Forrester Research who researched that UI/UX design can increase conversion rate up to 400%.

Conversion rate: the number of visits a website has. This is because users can use the application smoothly & easily.

But you know that like if users will uninstall their phone application because it looks messy and often errors (Dot Com Infoway).

That’s why UI and UX are two things that are interrelated in creating applications that can help users to complete their goals in our application.

What is UI/UX?

UX is the whole process that a user passes through when he interacts with a product. The process is end-to-end. The point is the experience of how users use our products.

Uniquely, UX can be found anywhere, not only in the application. There can be interactions that require the user to call customer service, well this also includes UX.

If the User Interface (UI) is part of the UX in the form of a visual display of a digital product used by the user, it can be seen & there must be interaction. For example, visually related components, such as the “Call to action (CTA) Message” button that exists in many applications.

What about a good UI UX design?
The conditions: that meet the user’s goals & needs and are also easy to understand. It could be that these two things are independent, not interconnected. For example UI UX in ATM visually the menu is only blue background &text, not aesthetic. But for UX it’s functional.

There is also an application whose UI is good a lot of animations, but the access is slow, of course this makes the user lazy to use it.

In essence, UX was made to be able to answer the needs of the user, then the UI can be adjusted after the UX has been well defined.
